James Victore - SAM






James Victore

Born in 1962, Victore has been teaching Graphic Design at The School Of Visual Arts in New York City for the last 15 years.
He is an independent Graphic Designer whose clients range from Apple, Yohji Yamamoto, Aveda, MTV, Yamaha to The New York Times and TIME magazine.
Victore has been awarded an Emmy for his work in Television Animation and a Gold Medal from the Broadcast Designers Association.
A Monograph of his work titled "VICTORE or, Who Died and Left You Boss?" has been published in china in the Fall of 2010 byHarry Abrams.
James' body of work is striking and distinctive, his political and social issue workis some of his mostfamous designs and many of his posters and collections are permanently exhibited at the Palais Du Louvre, The Library of Congress and The Museum Fur Gestaltung, among others.
